Great RV park! Manager “T” is the best. All the support employees are great. They took personal pride in assisting campers.

Hi folks!  Your staff were so helpful and friendly!  The campground was so clean and well maintained.  And your shower/bathrooms were nicer than what I have at home!

“We had the best stay! Ms. T you are the true definition of Southern Hospitality. The bathrooms were immaculate and the staff was so warm & friendly. This was our first time camping there but truly not the last. …thank you for everything.”

“Great experience from the minute we pulled into the park to moment we left. They had a canopy setup outside (in the rain) with your paperwork. They brought our paperwork to you, without you having to get out of your vehicle. Then the guy on the golf cart took you to your site and directed you in your site. (He really knows what he is doing.) We had a site on the creek that was great, and the individual bathrooms were excellent. The day we were leaving, they were standing along the the exit road making sure everything ran smoothly and was offering us water as we left the park. I’ve never seen this kind of hospitality at any other park…Thanks again for a great Memorial Day weekend!!!”

“Highly recommend Creekwood Farm RV Park if you are looking to get away to North Carolina! It is right on the out skirts of Maggie Valley! Beautiful, clean and right next to a river! It was so beautiful lit up at night, as they hired the same company the Biltmore Mansion uses to do their Christmas lights. A beautiful 100+year old barn and a sweet lady with a chicken coop is just some of the added perks!”

“One of our new favorite places. This is a small clean and well maintained park with creek side lots that are beautiful. They also have 2 small park areas where you can sit by the stream and enjoy the sights and sounds. There seems to be many folks that are frequent guests here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back.”

“Very friendly and great customer service! We showed up in an electric vehicle with very little charge. Melinda was so accomodating, and allowed us to charge for a reasonable fee from an unused RV spot. Everyone was so nice!”

“We have stayed here a half dozen times over the years. The campground roads and campsite driveways are all gravel, but quite level. Site spacing is typical of private campgrounds. Some sites are pull through, but only if the place is not very full, as they are actually back to back sites. There are many long term campers, but their sites don’t look permanent like a trailer park. There is a mulch grinding industry across the road that runs weekdays, but the noise is fairly well isolated by a stand of trees.

The campground has always been peaceful and quiet on past visits, but we happened to come on Labor Day weekend, and it was transformed into an entirely different place. Children and adults present with poor campground etiquette meant kids riding bikes through campsites, excess noise and lights, as well as quite a few extra golf carts running around. There were way more vehicles here than the campground can handle. You can’t really blame the business for all of this behavior, but beware.

The staff is friendly and helpful. There are sometimes community meals, and there is entertainment and food on summer holiday weekends. Our favorite feature here is the private unisex bathrooms. The campground is very easily accessed off Interstate 40.

Overall, we like this campground and return about once per year.”

“Its a beautiful park right on Jonathon creek.”

Bill Nagle

“Nice campground and pleasant staff. Sites are well maintained. Small and basic. Creek is a nice feature. Unfortunately absolutely no other amenities for our young children. Would only return for an adult trip.”

“Been to this campground on two different camping trips. We love this place. So clean and well kept. The bathhouses are amazing, there are only 6 of them. Nice fenced in dog park area. It’s so quiet that we weren’t on the creek, in fact we were by the bathhouse, but we could hear the creek. We would like to stay on the creek next trip. Very friendly staff. They have a few basic needs at the store in camp ground, but convince stores are very close by. Located just off I40, but far enough from it that you will never hear it.
I live in Mooresville NC and can be in campground in 2 in a half hours pulling my 32 ft TT. So easy to get to. Love to go out exploring to see the elk. AMAZING.”

“We just left and I already miss our site along Jonathan Creek. What a great RV Park. We were escorted in and had any questions we could think of answered. Bath house was nice, clean and roomy. Great laundry facility. Such a friendly place. Met some nice folks. We will be back.”

“We arrived late. However, we had called ahead and a guide was available to help us to our campsite. This was the first time I had backed our new 30′ travel trailer into a site. The guide was very helpful and patient with me even though it was after dark. Very quite campsite with the creek bubbling in the background. Will stay here often.”

Brandon Messer

“Great place. If you are looking for an ideal place to camp it’s the ultimate experience.”

AJ Shipman

“Clean and neat park. Easy access to I-40. Staff could not have been any nicer and accommodating. Just a guick overnight stay but would return in a heartbeat.”

Scott McKoin

“After our sites being given away by our previous campground reservations, Creekwood accommodated us last minute and it couldn’t have been nicer. They were able to get us 3 sites with 20 mins notice and having a fairly full place at the time. Everyone was very nice and the facility was clean with level sites. Some of our people used the bathhouses and bragged about how nice they were. We appreciate them working us in and will recommend this to other campers and will be back.”
