Moo Mountain bakery is a small home town bakery with handmade goodies of all kinds. Located at 2511 Soco Rd, in the heart of Maggie Valley. They bake bagels, pastries, cookies, fudge, cinnamon rolls all fresh daily and all made with love! Open Tuesday through Saturday 8am to 3pm, Moo Mountain Bakery is where Larry & Gary go for bagels & cream cheese 

Located in Waynesville’s Historic Frog Level, which served as the town’s industrial district from the late 1880s until the late 1940s, the warehouse was built between 1916 and 1924. Widely known throughout Waynesville as Boyd Wholesale Grocery for most of its years, they have preserved as many historical features as possible, which give the building a rustic nostalgia that makes everyone feel warm and cozy, like they’re somewhere they’ve been before. This historic space is now home to the café, espresso bar, and coffee roastery. Be sure to experience their incredible coffee, where customers can share time together with friends, or spend some quality time alone. Enjoy a warm latté or crisp salad on the back deck, overlooking Richland Creek.  Panacea is Larry & Gary favorite coffee shop, where history meets modern urban life.  One of our favorite places for a great southern style breakfast is Pops Place located at 3253 Soco Rd,  Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Ever heard of “cat head biscuits” Pop makes them and they are DELICIOUS!  The pancakes are the size of the plate they are served on, and the home style potatoes are the best around. Stop by and meet Pop himself, tell him Larry & Gary of Creekwood Farm sent you, Pop might even sing you a song!

Youu can find the Rendezvous Restaurant and Lounge attached to the Maggie Valley Inn and Conference Center located on “The Coolest Corner in the Valley”. The Rendezvous Restaurant and the Inn are American owned and operated. Drop by and enjoy some of the best food in Western North Carolina.

No other place in the Smokies will you find the best mix of food like the southern fried chicken, ribs, tender steaks, pizza, hand breaded seafood and the best  chicken tenders in the south. The Rendezvous atmosphere is a blend of fine dining and good old home town casual.
Try the Thursday night Country Buffet, or Sunday’s Family Style dinning, or get it hot and fresh Saturday & Sunday mornings with the Breakfast Buffet.

Hair Works Salon 1410 Dellwood Rd. Waynesville, NC 28785 828-400-3646 – is where Larry and Gary both go for a hair cut. They highly recommend Don the barber. He is by far the very best and a great conversationalist. Stop by Hair Works Salon you wont be disappointed, and tell them Larry & Gary sent you.

Right outside our campground is a great place to get a burger, shake, and fries; GiGi’s Burger Restaurant located at 4632 Jonathan Creek Rd. This is the place where flip flops rule and the atmosphere is laid back all year long. Try the taco salad or a Nathan slaw-dog you wont be disappointed. Just a quick walk from your campsite to get a GiGi Burger, the best around.

Frog Level Brewing has some of the smoothest craft beer to touch your tongue. From their Scotch Ale to their Tadpole porter and other fine recipes in between, you can get a pint of any of these flavors to drink in the tasting room. If you’re hungry, bring your own food and enjoy it with any of the fine handcrafted brews inside or on the back deck overlooking the flowing creek. Tell them Creekwood Farm recommended them, just don’t drink and drive, we want you to arrive back on the farm alive!
